New CANDLEMASS, DORO Audio Interviews Posted Online

Shockwaves/HardRadio Podcast #19 is now available for download at this location (17 MB). Host Bob Nalbandian passes the mic to fellow journalist/metal-meister John Strednansky who interviews CANDLEMASS bassist/mastermind Leif Edling regarding the band's latest release, "King of the Grey Islands", and German rock goddess Doro Pesch about her latest CD, "Warrior Soul".

CANDLEMASS' new album, "King of the Grey Islands", entered the Greek chart at position No. 10. The CD also debuted on the German Media Control chart at No. 83.

"King of the Grey Islands" is the first CANDLEMASS album to feature singer Robert Lowe (SOLITUDE AETURNUS),who replaced Messiah Marcolin earlier in the year.

DORO is planning a new U.S. tour that will take place in the spring of 2008. More information will be made available soon.

Pesch's new version of the WARLOCK classic "All We Are" — featuring a backing band consisting of DESTRUCTION frontman Marcel "Schmier" Schirmer, AFTER FOREVER guitarist Bas Maas and well-known session drummer Tim Husung — was released on June 8. The 45-minute CD includes other rare material and bonus video footage and was issued on the AFM Records label.
